Pathways of Hope is dedicated to ending hunger and homelessness for vulnerable people in North Orange County. This local nonprofit provides critical food, shelter, and housing services for the most marginalized residents in our community.
Need
Provide childcare for homeless neighbors living in shelters so that parents can attend a class.
More Details
Volunteers will play with and supervise children, help with homework (if needed), and do basic clean up.
Childcare takes place every other Thursday; 2nd and 4th of the month from 5:30 pm- 7 pm starting March 9th and 23rd. 2-4 volunteers needed for each session. Must be 18 years or older.
Next Steps
Next you'll be contacted by Pathways of Hope to complete an online volunteer application at www.pohoc.org/volunteer, complete a background check (finger printing), and sign volunteer waivers. Then you will set up a day to start serving.
