Higher Ground Youth & Family Services is a nonprofit organization that provides mentoring programs for youth in at-risk communities in Orange County. Higher Ground focuses on mentoring programs for Elementary, Middle and High School youth in/near Anaheim. The goal of Higher Ground is to foster a commitment to the youth of this area that will promote positive educational habits, strong interpersonal skills, and a sense of empowerment.
Need
Spend the afternoon with at risk youth and become part of Higher Ground’s mentorship program.
More Details
Engage with youth in a variety of fun activities and get to know them. Higher Ground has youth from 2nd grade to 12th grade and their program runs Monday-Friday from 2pm-5pm (Wednesdays 1pm-5pm). Volunteer once to try it out and then serve on a regular basis if you can!
