HIS-OC is Homeless Intervention Services of Orange County. HIS-OC has a few shelters for those facing homelessness. One of these shelters addresses the needs of underserved transitional aged youth. Combining Housing, Education, and Skills for Students (CHESS) is a transitional 12-24 month program for 18-24-year-old men. Residents attend college, trade school, or complete a high school diploma/GED requirements. Many residents were in the foster care system and do not have help navigating the education system. Case managers help them set personal goals and connect them to appropriate resources.
Need
Provide a meal for the 10-12 young men of the CHESS House. Make a meal, pick up food from a restaurant and deliver, or provide food through Uber Eats--your choice!
