Cook meals with Foster Teen Living in Short-term Placement Homes

Olive Crest is a foster and adoption agency working to prevent child abuse and neglect by offering 15 different programs to children and families in crisis. Our programs fall into three different categories which are preventive care, crisis care, and preparation for independence working with children and families through their lives.
Need
Come and cook a meal with some of the teens living in the short term placement homes. Volunteers would need to provide the food for approx. 6 teens + 3 staff.
More Details
This is an ongoing opportunity to connect with some foster youth that have seen a lot of trauma and hardship in their lives. Once the meal is cooked, the volunteers can sit down and eat family style with the youth. Ideas include baking cakes/cupcakes or cookie decorating in the afternoon or a BBQ with the teen boys. This opportunity requires 3-5 volunteers per home and everyone must be 21+ years of age.
