NEGU (Never Ever Give Up) is part of The Jessie Rees Foundation and their Joy Factory continuously spreads joy to kids fighting cancer. Their mission is to encourage every kid fighting cancer to Never Ever Give Up! They fulfill their mission by connecting with families, bringing awareness to their stories, offering them a network of helpful resources, and sending the entire family continual doses of encouragement throughout their journey.
Need
Volunteer at the Joy Factory in Irvine to help NEGU complete one of its greatest needs—helping prepare items for kids and families. This could include tying baby blankets, making Care Cards or toy prep.

This one-time opportunity will be limited to 30 volunteers (adults only please).

This is a special opportunity for Eastsiders to enjoy an experience at the Joy Factory learning about the foundation. We will meet on Wednesday, July 9 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.

In order to “Keep the Joy Flowing” we are asking each volunteer to bring several of the following items: Small card games such as UNO, Farkle, Blink, Skip-Bo, I-spy travel or fun socks (children’s sizes). The value should be approximately $20-$25. You can purchase these anywhere or you can easily order them from NEGU Wishlist and have them sent to you to bring on that day.
