City Net deploys case management staff into the streets of our communities and local emergency shelters to serve our homeless neighbors in their journey to secure housing and other services. Staff, often in tandem with law enforcement, visit public areas like flood control channels, parks, and business where encampments are set up.
Need
Provide critical comfort items and help build trust with neighbors living on the streets! For individuals experiencing homelessness, receiving a simple snack or a basic hygiene kit can meet an immediate, practical need. More importantly, these items serve as essential "icebreakers" for mobile street outreach teams, helping them open lines of communication, establish trusting relationships, and ultimately guide individuals toward permanent housing solutions.

This is a wonderful, highly engaging opportunity for individuals, families, or small groups. You will gather directly at an office warehouse space to pack life-saving outreach kits while getting an interactive, inside look at how street outreach works in our local community.

What You'll Do: Assemble travel-sized hygiene packs and snack kits while learning directly from field coordinators about the realities of local homelessness and how to effectively support our unhoused neighbors.
